Make a Reservation at Takinuna Ayahuasca retreats

We look forward to working with you on upcoming Ayahuasca, Huachuma, tobacco, Camalonga & plant medicine retreat. For our selection and booking process we prefer a personal approach starting a dialogue by email, to get a good idea of your personal needs. There are some steps in the application process, but everything flows when you communicate with us and let us know as much as possible about yourself.

Step 1 Contact us

Please contact us by email at. info@thetakinuna.com. and let us know what you are looking to receive from your time with medicinal plants. It is important that we know of any specific medical, emotional & psychological conditions you may have and some background information on how long it has been in your life. We would also like to know when you want to come and for how long you are planning to stay.

Step 2: Submission of the registration form and initial evaluation

We will review your information and carry an assessment process to determine if an ayahuasca retreat is a right option for you. There may be extra questions to help us understand how best to help.

After completing the initial assessment process, please download the registration form below and follow the included instructions. Please read and complete the entire form as it contains policies and information not described on this website. Click on the format below to download the reservation form.

Step 3: Send your deposit and reserve your spot

Once we have reviewed and approved your reservation form we will notify you and you can then make the deposit to reserve your spot. Specific payment options and instructions are listed below. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to make a reservation. You can pay in full or you can pay the remaining balance upon arrival if you wish. You can also pay the balance using any of the options listed below. Your reservation will not be confirmed until we receive the deposit. We recommend that you get quality travel insurance.

Step 4: Book your flights

You should plan to arrive in Iquitos the day before your retreat begins so that you have a night to rest from your travels. When searching for flights, consider a flight to Lima, then a separate flight from Lima to Iquitos. You will find many more options in Lima and you will save money.

Retreat Payment Options

To confirm your reservation, please send a 50% deposit using one of the following methods:

Credit card or PayPal

You can pay using the PayPal service to pay by credit card or from your PayPal account. If you want to pay by credit card, but don’t have a PayPal account, PayPal may ask you to create one based on the country you’re in. From the drop-down list below. select 50% deposit or full payment withdrawal for the period you are reserving.

Pay balance upon arrival

After paying your deposit, you can pay the remaining balance upon arrival. Let us know if this is your preferred option. We have contactless machines where you can pay the remaining balance. Please don’t forget to bring your bank card if this is your preferred option.

Bank transfer

The following information can be used to transfer your payment from your bank to ours. If you choose this option, please confirm with your bank all fees that will be charged en route. Note that bank transfers show $30-$100 short, and neither the sending nor receiving bank has ever claimed responsibility for the shortfall. For this reason, we recommend paying with western union. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please include $50 more to cover this shortage. We will settle the difference between the cost of the program and what we receive when you arrive.

Planning your Ayahuasca Retreat Experience

Once you’ve made your reservation, we recommend to make space for planning and preparing for your retreat.

Arrival at the Retreat Center

We will meet and welcome you at the airport once you’ve arrived and we’ll travel together to the Nanay port and then continue the trip by water in a fast, and safe river transport by the Majestic Amazon River. At the end of the retreat we will take you back to the city of Iquitos weather it be to the airport or hotel, hostel if you’re planning to stay longer.

For those starting their stay on a different date, we will arrange pick-up on an individual basis. We recommend that you start your stay with the 8 or 15-day retreat programs as it flows better than other start dates.
